Central Texas College builds ‘green’ home

CTC students are trying to raise awareness about energy-efficient practices and materials by building a ‘green’ home on the campus.  The goal is to construct an 800 sq. ft. home that showcases the latest in sustainable, energy efficient technology with an estimated 20 to 30 students are working on the project.  The two bedroom, one bath home will have double-paned windows, a spray-able foam insulation, an energy-efficient heating and air conditioning system and other energy-saving-features.
