Kitchen Cleaning Tips

Stove- One of the most commonly ignored areas with regards to kitchen cleaning is the space between the stove and the countertop.  Use a stiff brush to loosen and remove the crumbs.
Remove the filter from your rage hood at least once every six months and clean it.  If you have a carbon filter, replace it as needed.

Refrigerator– Make sure that you clean the refrigerator vent at least once every six months.  You can do this by pulling off the removable vent at the bottom of your refrigerator and use the crevice tool of your vacuum to vacuum the coils.  Wash and wipe the vent down before replacing it.

Sink- As with the stove, one of the most commonly missed cleaning areas is the seam where the sink joins the counter.  Use a toothbrush to clean the seams.  Also use a toothbrush to clean the faucet knobs on your sink.

Microwave- In order to get rid of the interior of tough stains, boil a cup of water with a few lemon slices in it for a minute in the microwave.  The resulting steam will soften the grime and make it easier for you to clean it with a sponge.
