Fort Hood Area home sales remain stable

According to the Fort Hood Area Association of Realtors, area home sales remained steady in May.  Compared to the rest of the country, the Fort Hood area real estate is doing quite well.  In the greater Fort Hood Area, 198 homes were sold in April and May, 146 of those homes were existing properties and 53 of them were bank-owned.  Each home spent about 121 days on the market with the median price being $116,150 a 2.5% increase from May 2010.  Though the numbers of homes sold are down from last year, it seems as if the real estate market in Ft. Hood is leveling off.
