Texas state sales tax revenue increases

Texas state sales tax revenue for November was $2.07 billion which is up 12% from November of ‘010 according to State Comptroller Susan Combs.  Sales tax revenue in all major sectors improved this year and state sales tax revenue has increased for 20 consecutive months.  According to the state comptrollers office, Texas cities are set to receive a combined $315.8 million.  With regards to the Ft. Hood area, Killeen will get $1.3 million, Harker Heights $372,809,  and Copperas Cove $261,173.
