Stocks look for strongest January this century

Despite dissapointing U.S. housing and manufacturing growth numbers, stocks are on track to finish with the best January in the 21st century.  Overall it would be the best January report for the S&P and Dow since 1997 and best for Nasdaq since 2001.  One of the main reasons for the strong month is the possibility of a new, strong fiscal pact in the EU.   The Euro leaders agreed Monday to strengthen a financial firewall for most of the members of the 27-nation
